I will live there one day, without shadow of a doubt. Whether it be deep within the State, Brooklyn, or even central NYC, I will live there.

Always fun seeing your picture in the radar, as posted by someone else (seriously :)
This is from the old Vimeo office on Park Ave., 17th floor looking north. Hot tip for cool snow pictures: use a flash and set it on maximum power.

I just had to retake this shot from three weeks ago. I was losing sleep over it. The first time, I happened across the spot accidentally and was unprepared, so the original was handheld at 50mm & f/1.2 @ 3200 ISO (with about 50% cropped out). This time, on a tripod at 105mm & f/2.8 @ 100 ISO (and slightly earlier in the evening). Check it out at full resolution and see if you can spot the SR-71 Blackbird.

The Street Aesthetic of New York City

Can I just post this video again, please? This is the first time I’m watching it with speakers, and the effect is totally different. I love “Intro” by XX. It’s a fantastic, little song, and really ups the longing that I have for New York. Ugh. It kills me. I miss you, sweet home!

I miss you beautiful, I can’t wait to see you again xx
